Resource gathering
Static trees and staged resource nodes supply the early economy, but they deplete differently. Trees keep the same appearance even when temporarily empty. Wood piles and ore nodes visibly wear down, then disappear when depleted.
Food and medicine
Food restores calories and can affect health or radiation. Raw chicken is dangerous: eating it causes sickness in addition to immediate harm. Cook it in a campfire before relying on it.
Bandages stop bleeding. Small and large medkits restore health over time, and the Blood Draw Kit trades health for a reusable crafting resource. Item cooldowns prevent instant repeated use.

Radiation and rad towns
Rad towns trade higher-risk exploration for valuable loot. Watch your radiation level, carry Anti-Radiation Pills when possible, and plan an exit before searching deeply. A landmark's radiation shape and its no-build boundary can be different.
Airdrops and loot
Supply signals can call an airdrop. The aircraft pass and parachuting crate are visible to other players, so the reward also creates a temporary combat objective. Approach with an escape direction, not only a destination.
Sleeping and respawning
Sleeping Bags and Beds create player respawn options when placed successfully. Put them inside a controlled structure and avoid treating a single exposed spawn point as permanent security.
